Friday evening, May 1, and all day Saturday, May 2, 1998.

 

If you need INSPIRATION to start your own business, INNOVATIVE ideas about managing your business or that INSIGHT which comes from experienced business owners, this conference is designed for you. You won’t want to miss it!

Friday evening, May 1, will kick-off the Conference with a reception from 5-8pm at the Carnegie Building in Eureka, featuring food from the Arcata Coop and Spoons, and wines from local wineries. Our emphasis will be on Networking and a Dutch Auction, with local businesses contributing samples of their products and services.

On Saturday, May 2, the Eureka Inn will be the site of the Conference which includes a full day of exciting seminars, networking opportunities, keynote presentations, exhibits and lunch. The Conference will begin at 8am with a continental breakfast, and finish at 5pm. Practical information will be delivered for starting a business and for developing and expanding your business.

 Three successful women owned businesses will be spotlighted in the morning as they share their personal stories of successes and lessons as entrepreneurs. Wild Women Adventures, a successful company from Sebastopol, California, co-owned by two outrageous women, will be featured at lunch on Saturday.

Workshops will be facilitated both in the morning and afternoon around the following topics:

Due to space limitations and based on the success of previous conferences, organizers are urging participants to pre-register to ensure a space in the workshops of their choice. Pre-registration is $85, and $99 at the door. This includes the Reception Friday night, the all-day conference and lunch on Saturday.
